BLACKPINK's Lisa continues to dominate the music world with her latest single, "New Woman," featuring Rosalía.

Released on August 16, the music video quickly became a sensation, with the BLACKPINK rapper becoming the first K-pop female soloist to surpass six million streams on Spotify on the song's debut day.

The music video showcases the dynamic chemistry between Lisa and Rosalía, who appear to embody "yin and yang" phases of one another, captivating fans worldwide.

This release marks Lisa's second solo single under her label, LLOUD, which she founded earlier this year on February 7.

Notably, "New Woman" is Lisa's first collaboration with a Western artist, further solidifying her global influence.

Fans took to social media to celebrate her latest milestone, with one admirer writing, "She really is the queen of Kpop!"

Another fan added, "LISA’s competition is only herself. She keeps surpassing herself."

The excitement continued as fans praised the collaboration, calling it "a testament to their global influence and talent."

The single's success extends beyond streaming numbers.

According to the World Music Awards, "New Woman" entered the Global Digital Artist Top 20 Chart at #19 as of August 18, 2024.

The track also trended at #1 Worldwide on YouTube for the second consecutive day, amassing over 35 million views since its release.

Additionally, the song achieved the biggest debut on YouTube for a collaborated single in 2024 and topped iTunes charts in 35 countries, while securing No. 2 on the US iTunes chart.

Lisa's rise in the music industry has been remarkable.

After ending her solo artist contract with YG Entertainment in December 2023, she launched her company, LLOUD, in February 2024, partnering with RCA Records to retain full creative control over her music.

Her global influence was further cemented when she became the new global ambassador for Louis Vuitton on July 23, 2024.
