Football: Redknapp looks to welcome Beckham

Queens Park Rangers had earlier been linked to Beckham.

LONDON:
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed he would be interested in signing David Beckham. The former England captain, who trained with Spurs last season during the MLS off-season but failed to secure a loan move, is out of contract at Los Angeles Galaxy in November. Queens Park Rangers had earlier been linked to Beckham, and now Redknapp has also made his interest public. "If David wants to come to Tottenham I'd welcome him with open arms," said Redknapp. "He's definitely still good enough to play in the Premier League."
