Bebe Rexha claims discrimination and hate crime after being banned from flight for speaking Albanian

Bebe Rexha stated she felt mentally abused and discriminated against due to her ethnicity.

Singer Bebe Rexha recently shared a distressing experience on social media, alleging that she was threatened and banned from a Lufthansa flight for speaking Albanian to an airport security agent in Munich, Germany. The singer, who is of Albanian descent, believes the incident to be a hate crime.

Rexha emotionally recounted the incident on her Instagram story, claiming that the supervisor threatened her after she spoke to the security agent in Albanian. She stated she felt mentally abused and discriminated against due to her ethnicity. Rexha also criticized Lufthansa's response, stating that an apology wasn't enough and demanding a full investigation into the employee's conduct.

Rexha's mother, Bukurije Rexha, also spoke out on social media, condemning the agent's behavior and threatening legal action for harassment and emotional distress. She urged Lufthansa and Munich airport to investigate the matter thoroughly.
