Veteran director Syed Noor proud of Resham despite 'her denial of mentorship'

Renowned Lollywood director Syed Noor says he is proud of actress Resham even though she does does acknowledge his mentorship

In a recent appearance on Dr. Affan Qaiser's podcast, Syed Noor openly expressed disappointment over Resham's lack of acknowledgment, yet showered praised on her acting talents

Syed Noor He stated, "Although I introduced her to the film industry, she does not recognise me as her mentor. Instead, she attributes her success to Ayub Khawar and a few others."

Continuing his remarks, he added, "If Resham does not consider me her mentor, I have no complaints. In fact, I am proud to have introduced her to films and helped groom her."

The director further elaborated on the efforts he made to enhance Resham's on-screen persona, sharing, "I worked hard on her appearance, teaching her how to choose hairstyles and outfits. Despite all this, I am not upset with Resham."

Syed Noor also commented on Resham's current absence from the film industry, stating, "I don't know why she isn't working anymore or why she's not being cast in films. As for me, I currently don't have a role that would suit Resham for my films."

He concluded by saying, "If I have a suitable role for her in the future, I will definitely cast her."

Resham, in a recent interview, had accused Syed Noor of ruining her career, stating that he had humiliated her on a film set and questioned who would cast her in their films.

Resham also claimed that Syed Noor "chopped off her legs," adding that he was the only director who understood her temperament, but he stopped offering her roles because he fell in love with actress Saima, whom he then cast in all his films.
