The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), a major ally in the ruling coalition, expressed grave concerns on Friday over the "bad economic conditions" in the country during a meeting chaired by chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, party sources said.
The sources said that the PPP chairman was given a briefing on the prevailing economic situation. It was decided in the meeting that the PPP would give a tough time to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led government over its weak economic policies, they added.
During the meeting, the source said, Bilawal expressed concerns over high electricity bills.
