Kim Kardashian may be one of the most sought-after celebrities, but when it comes to dating, she’s hitting the pause button—much to her children's disappointment.
During an appearance on *The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon* on August 15, 2024, the SKIMS founder opened up about her current relationship status, revealing that she isn’t ready to jump back into the dating scene.
Despite her reluctance, her four children—North (11), Saint (8), Chicago (6), and Psalm (5)—are eager to see their mom find a new partner.
Kardashian, who shares her kids with ex-husband Kanye West, shared a humorous anecdote about how her kids have taken it upon themselves to create lists of potential suitors.
"It’s so funny because my kids try to set me up. Like, they’re ready now but I’m not. They’re so particular. They come home and make lists," she said.
Saint, a passionate sports fan, has even suggested she date a basketball or soccer player. “I’m like, ‘If you only knew,’” Kardashian quipped.
Although her kids are enthusiastic about the idea, Kardashian made it clear that she’s not in the market for a relationship at the moment.
“Guys, [dating] just isn’t what I want right now,” she tells them.
Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February 2021 after six years of marriage.
Since then, she had a brief relationship with comedian Pete Davidson in 2022.
Before West, Kardashian was romantically linked to several athletes, including football star Reggie Bush, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin, and basketball player Kris Humphries, to whom she was married for just 72 days.
In the fall of 2023, she was rumored to be dating Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., although the pair never confirmed their relationship publicly.
As one of the most influential figures in pop culture, Kardashian’s dating life remains a topic of great interest. However, for now, it seems she’s content focusing on her family and career.
