FaZe Temperrr announces retirement from crossover boxing

FaZe Temperrr, also known as Thomas Oliveira, has announced his retirement from crossover boxing nearly two years after beginning his journey in the sport. 

The FaZe Clan president shared the news through a statement on his X handle, reflecting on the experiences and challenges he faced. Temperrr made his boxing debut on March 5, 2022, on the Deji Olatunji–Alex Wassabi card, where he secured a unanimous victory. 

However, his subsequent matches brought a mix of outcomes, including a second-round knockout loss to Slim Albaher and another defeat when he stepped in to fight KSI. His final bout against MMA fighter and YouTuber Josh Brueckner ended in a second-round technical knockout loss.

In his announcement, FaZe Temperrr expressed a blend of emotions as he looked back on the sacrifices and trials that defined his boxing career. While acknowledging the toll the sport took on his physical and emotional health, he also emphasized the valuable lessons and friendships he gained. 

Prioritizing his health and well-being, Temperrr noted that his decision to retire was motivated by the need to focus on his fiancée, son, and their future. 

Although stepping away from boxing, he hinted that this may not be a definitive farewell, expressing gratitude to his trainer, Malik Scott, and all those who supported him.
