The body of a seven-year-old girl who was swept away by heavy rain on Adiala Road, has been found in the Chakwal area.
Rescue 1122 conducted a five-day search operation in the river and drain on Adiala Road before local residents found the body floating in the water near Tala Gang. The girl, Malaika, was buried in a local cemetery after funeral prayers.
