Brad Pitt invites Hans Zimmer to F1 Race to inspire 'Apex' film score

Pitt brings the legendary composer to the Formula 1 grid with Lewis Hamilton to fuel creativity for his new film.

It comes as no surprise that Brad Pitt has enlisted the talents of renowned composer Hans Zimmer to craft the score for his upcoming racing film, "Apex." 

Known for his iconic work on films like "Gladiator" and "The Lion King," Zimmer is no stranger to the world of high-octane cinema. 

According to a source close to the production, Pitt personally ensured Zimmer got a feel for the film by inviting him to a Formula 1 race, where they spent time with Mercedes driver Sir Lewis Hamilton on the grid.

The insider shared, “Hans wrote the score for the F1 film ‘Rush’ in 2013, so it was a no-brainer for Brad to have him on board.

He personally invited Hans down to a race to spend time with him and Lewis on the grid to get his creative juices flowing.”

Pitt has been deeply involved in the production, even taking over a paddock at Silverstone during the British Grand Prix for the past two years to film scenes as his character, driver Sonny Hayes. 

Adding to the authenticity, Sky Sports F1 commentators Martin Brundle and David Croft have filmed cameos for the movie. 

With Zimmer’s score shaping up to be a winner, "Apex" is poised to be a must-see for adrenaline junkies and film fans alike.
