Olympic champion Arshad Nadeem receives sedan car and Rs100m from Punjab CM
Olympian Arshad Nadeem and his family warmly received Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz at his home in a nearby village close to his hometown Mian Channu.
During the visit, Maryam Nawaz congratulated Arshad Nadeem's mother, Razia Parveen.
She presented Arshad Nadeem with a cheque for Rs100 million and gifted him a car in recognition of his achievements. He was also give with a personalised number plate PAK 92 97 for the vehicle refering to his record 92.97 metre throw at the Olympics.
Additionally, she awarded 5 million rupees to his javelin throw coach, Salman Iqbal Butt.
Maryam Nawaz praised Arshad Nadeem for bringing immense pride to the nation, while Arshad’s father expressed deep gratitude, calling the CM's visit a great honor.
The CM was accompanied by Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar, Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik, and other officials during the visit.
