At the recent Clout Festival, Quavo ignited the crowd and social media by advocating for Young Thug's release during his performance of the hit "Pick Up The Phone," their collaboration with Travis Scott.

The moment, captured in a viral clip, comes as Young Thug remains incarcerated with his trial ongoing.

While many fans applauded Quavo's gesture, others criticized him for what they see as a contradiction to his previous statements advocating for gun control.

At a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris, Quavo had spoken poignantly about the loss of his Migos bandmate, Takeoff, and called for action against gun violence.

The controversy surrounding Young Thug has also drawn comments from high-profile figures.

In a livestream with Adin Ross, former President Donald Trump expressed his intention to examine Thug’s case, claiming potential unfair treatment.

"I heard that actually," Trump remarked, suggesting intervention if re-elected.

Meek Mill also lent his voice on social media, praising Young Thug’s contributions and echoing the call for justice.
