KARACHI:

The Sindh government has announced a major decision for the convenience of people and travellers that all the inter-city bus terminals will be relocated outside the metropolis, and passengers will be provided with free shuttle service.

Minister for Information, Transport, Excise, and Taxation, Sharjeel Inam Memon, said that a free shuttle service would be provided to the travellers from the old bus terminals to the new ones. This free shuttle service will start from August 14.

A high-level meeting was held with senior minister in the chair. During the meeting, Sharjeel issued directives to immediately relocate bus terminals outside the city on a priority basis.

He said that the heavy vehicles cause difficulties for the citizens and put additional pressure on the roads. Modern facilities are also being provided for passengers at the new bus terminal.
