The National Assembly on Friday unanimously adopted the resolution to pay tribute to the world record holder. Minister for Law and Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar tabled the resolution, saying it was a blessed day for the nation.

Tarar, while paying tribute to the gold medalist athlete, said that Arshad Nadeem had set an Olympic world record by throwing the longest ever javelin throw. "All parliamentary leaders have demanded that the House should pass a resolution to pay tribute to Arshad Nadeem," he added.

Pakistani Army | 4 months ago | Reply What about Kashmir nothing said about Kashmir Why did he not dedicate his gold medal to Kashmir and Kashmiris The very last dollar and rupee and yuan that pakistan has should be given to Kashmiris that is the sole purpose of pakistan s existence and nothing else matters Kashmir Kashmir Kashmir
Sarah Kamran | 4 months ago | Reply Thank you for this article However I just feel it is a bit derogatory to use this headline for a person who has put in years of hardwork dedication . Calling him an overnight sensation in this day and age when even little achievements or overly sensationalized on social media is a bit belittling for the enormous achievement or this hero. So it doesn t sit well with me and a better headline could have been chosen to celebrate this hero in my opinion
