Imam Masjid-i-Nabvi praises Pakistan’s pivotal role in Muslim world
Dr Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair, the Imam of Masjid-e-Nabvi (PBUH), met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi today, the military said in a statement.
During the visit, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both dignitaries discussed various matters of mutual interest, reflecting on the strong and enduring ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
The army chief extended a warm welcome to the Imam, acknowledging the significance of his visit and its positive impact on the relationship between the two nations.
Dr Salah praised Pakistan’s pivotal role in the Muslim world, emphasising the country’s contributions to regional peace and stability.
He commended Pakistan’s efforts and its strategic position in fostering harmony among Muslim nations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Imam Masjid-e-Nabvi offered prayers for the peace, stability, and unity of the Muslim Ummah, further underscoring the shared commitment to collective well-being and cooperation.
