Arshad Nadeem expressed his gratitude on Instagram following his recent gold medal win.

In his post, Nadeem thanked Allah Almighty, his parents, and the entire nation for their prayers.

He also acknowledged the significant contributions of his coach, Mr. Salman Iqbal Butt, and Dr. Ali Sher Bajwa, whose support he credited with helping him achieve this milestone.

Nadeem dedicated the gold medal to the nation, describing it as a special gift for Independence Day. His message highlighted the collective effort and support he received throughout his journey to success.

Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, claimed gold at the Paris Olympics with a record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters.

His main challenger and defending champion, India's Neeraj Chopra, managed to secure a silver medal at second place with a throw of 89.34metres.

The last time Pakistan stood on the Olympic podium was in 1992 when the national hockey team claimed a bronze medal in Barcelona.

The feat also marks the first individual gold medal won for Pakistan in its history. The golg medal for Pakistan comes after a gap of four decades.

The achievement has received widespread recognition from across the country.
