MrBeast's ex-girlfriend Maddy Spidell calls out ‘weirdo’ ex, claims he’s facing karma

MrBeast's former girlfriend, Maddy Spidell, has shared some ambiguous posts on social media that seem to criticize her "weirdo" ex-boyfriend amid the controversy surrounding him.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is facing criticism from multiple directions, including claims that he knowingly hired a registered sex offender and accusations against his former collaborator, Ava Kris Tyson, for inappropriate behavior with underage fans.

On August 8, 2024, Spidell hinted at her past relationship with Donaldson in her posts, though she did not explicitly mention him by name.

Instead, Spidell urged YouTube to “reevaluate who you’re putting on the trending page” and referred to one of her past relationships as a “cautionary tale” for other young women.

“I do not aim to take anyone down, just simply and explicitly tell you that there are scary people out there, people who will hurt you, use you, spit you out and then tell you it’s your fault,”  she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

“It’s all of our jobs to protect our friends, our moms, our wives, our sisters, our daughters, OURSELVES from people like that.”

After her initial posts, Spidell shared a follow-up statement on Twitter/X, responding to criticism regarding the ambiguity of her remarks.

“Three years away from that weirdo, my skin is clear, my relationships and friendships are flourishing, I’m frolicking in a field,” she wrote. 

“‘She’s so vague,’ ‘She said nothing.’ From the looks of it, I don’t need to. Not putting myself through that sh*t again, but thanks!”

Spidell and MrBeast started their relationship in June 2019, after she appeared in one of his now-deleted Instagram posts, where they were seen watching a PewDiePie video together.

In 2020, MrBeast demonstrated his affection for Spidell by surprising her with a house filled with 100,000 roses, a grand gesture captured in a video that remains available online.

The couple eventually broke up in 2022, and considering this timeline along with her recent Twitter/X post, fans believe she is likely referring to her well-known former boyfriend.
