Ben Affleck recently bought a luxurious property in Los Angeles for $20.5 million.

Ben Affleck appeared unusually cheerful on Wednesday as he went to work, despite ongoing marital issues with Jennifer Lopez.

The “Argo” actor, 51, offered a rare smile to the paparazzi as he arrived at his office carrying an iced coffee and briefcase.

Affleck, who recently sported a new faux hawk hairstyle, looked dapper in a navy suit, blue button-down shirt, brown shoes, and aviator sunglasses.

His noticeably positive mood contrasted sharply with his earlier, more somber demeanor earlier in the week.

On Monday, Affleck seemed downcast as he drove to the set of one of his upcoming films in Los Angeles.

The actor, who had removed his wedding ring, tried to keep a low profile by wearing a hat and sunglasses on his way to work.

Affleck has been occupied with producing and starring in “The Accountant 2” while managing his separation from Lopez, who spent much of July in the Hamptons without him.

The couple, married in July 2022, showed signs of marital trouble when Affleck moved out of their Beverly Hills home in May.

In June, they confirmed split rumors by listing their 38,000-square-foot mansion for $68 million, which is $8 million more than their purchase price in 2023.

Soon after, Affleck bought a luxurious property in Los Angeles for $20.5 million, while Lopez was seen looking at various homes in Beverly Hills after returning to the West Coast.

Despite reports that Affleck and Lopez are not in contact, sources say the “Gone Girl” actor is delaying filing for divorce to avoid further embarrassment for Lopez.
