Pakistani drama serial and film actor Adeel Husain's mother, Roohi Najam, passed away on Tuesday. In a recent Instagram post, Adeel made the tragic announcement which was met by condolences from the showbiz fraternity.
The heartfelt post notified Adeel's Instagram following of his grief in cordial words. "Though our hearts ache, we find solace in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her legacy of compassion and grace will continue to inspire us every day," reads the grid post.
The Ho Mann Jahaan star further shared details regarding the funeral, which was to be held in Karachi. "The woman who was always the light of our lives. Words fail me as we wish her so long," the caption of Adeel's grievous update reads, "forever in our hearts and minds."
In the past, Adeel has shared various posts on Instagram that signify his fondness towards his late mother, including a Mother's Day post and a picture from a dinner outing. The bond that he shared with his mother makes his public tribute to her even more melancholic.
The reflective nature of the Pyari Mona actor is no secret to his social media following, due to how often he has shared his thoughts with his fans and followers. In the past, he has expressed his philosophical opinions through contemplative poetry and pensive captions on posts.
In 2020, Adeel uploaded a thread of grid posts dedicated to his mother on Mother's Day. The set of ten pictures showcased a variety of captures over the years, including pictures from her youth and Adeel's childhood. The thread post ended with two relatively recent selfies of the artist and his mother.
In an earlier post, Adeel shared another one of his childhood pictures, displaying his toddler self in his mother's arms. Owing to the actor's Mother's Day streak, an impassioned caption accompanied this post. Among many tender words, Adeel expressed, "Thank you Roohi Najam.
