HBO teases ‘The White Lotus’ season 3: Here's what to watch next if you loved The White Lotus

HBO has dropped a much awaited sneak peek of The White Lotus Season 3 on August 4, set against the lush backdrop of Thailand. 

Though details are scarce, the new season, likely to debut in early 2025, promises to stir up intrigue with the addition of K-Pop superstar BLACKPINK's Lisa making her acting debut.

1. Enlightened (2011-2013)

Before The White Lotus, HBO had Enlightened. The show was created and written by the same person who was behind The White Lotus; Mike White, who also plays Tyler on the show. The show is about a workaholic who has a nervous breakdown and goes to a fancy rehab centre in Hawaii for 3 months. As she comes out of rehab with a fresh new perspective, those around her are not so accepting of her new outlook. 

2. Nine Perfect Strangers (2021-)

A psychological thriller that premiered on Hulu almost 3 years ago features an all star cast including Nicole Kidman and Melissa McCarthy. The show takes place over a 10 day wellness retreat, however the retreat is not what it seems and they start to uncover secrets about each other and the host (played by Nicole Kidman). 

3. Big Little Lies (2017-)

Another show that features an all star cast is Big Little Lies, the first season of the show is said to be one of the best pilot seasons of all time. It takes place in gorgeous Monterey, California. The show is about a group of moms who discover a big secret that is at the centre of the drama. 

4. The Resort (2022-)

Network Peacock premiered the mystery show in 2022. The creators of the show have previously given us the masterpiece that is Mr.Robot. The Resort follows the story of how a couple's marriage is tested on their anniversary trip as they get entangled in one of Yucatan's most bizarre unsolved mysteries from 15 years ago.
