KPO attack movie premiere coincides with police martyr's day

The Sindh police chief attended the premiere of a movie made on the brazen terrorist attack on the Karachi Police Office (KPO). The premiere, held at a private cinema in Karachi, was attended by IG Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon and other officers, along with members of the public.

Special invitations were extended to police officers and personnel who had defended the KPO during the attack. The premiere coincided with Police Martyrs Day which is observed every year on August 4. While speaking to the media after the event, IG Memon expressed his gratitude to Yawar Raza Chawla and his team for producing the film, which highlights the police efforts and sacrifices.

He stressed the significance of such films in increasing public awareness about police work and enhancing the relationship between the police and the community.

Sharjeel pays tribute to police martyrs

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon paid tribute to the Sindh Police on Police Martyrs' Day, stating that "Martyrs of the Sindh Police will always be remembered as the epitome of true bravery." He emphasised that "the sacrifices of the Sindh Police for the protection of the land and the nation can never be forgotten."

Memon said, "I pay tribute to the brave policemen who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty," he said, asserting that "Sindh policemen are real heroes who faced danger with courage, bravery, and honesty."
