Three burnt alive in rental car fire

Bodies of victims trapped in vehicle charred

DIJKOT:

Three people were burnt to death after a fire broke out in a rental car near Dingro Bridge.

Rescue teams doused the fire and transferred the charred bodies to a hospital.

According to local sources, the car from a rental firm had been given by a citizen, Qadeer, to his brother-in-law Maqbool.

The three victims were travelling in the car at around 8am near the bridge when it suddenly caught fire.

The occupants did not get an opportunity to escape and were burnt to death inside the car.

Passers-by informed Rescue 1122 upon seeing the burning car.

After extinguishing the fire, rescue workers handed over the disfigured bodies of the three unidentified passengers to the police.

The police transferred the bodies to a mortuary unit and launched an investigation into the incident.

According to Nishatabad SHO Shahid Awan, every aspect of the incident is being investigated to uncover the facts. Forensic teams collected evidence from the spot.
