While Jennifer Lopez celebrated her birthday, Ben Affleck reportedly spent $20.5 million on a new Pacific Palisades mansion. This purchase comes as their marital home sits on the market for $68 million, sparking speculation about the couple's relationship status.   

Affleck's new bachelor pad boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and various amenities like separate dining and breakfast areas, a family room, a den, a media room, and a powder room. The interior features vaulted ceilings with wooden beams and a spacious kitchen with a chef's stove and a large stone island.   

The property also includes a guest house, horse stables, and a beautiful backyard with an in-ground pool and a covered patio with a fireplace.

Sources suggested to PageSix Affleck "never liked" his shared home with Lopez due to its distance from his children. His new residence is described as "family-friendly" and offers "privacy and seclusion."  
 

This move comes amidst reports of marital strain between the couple, with insiders claiming Affleck was unhappy in their shared mansion. The couple listed their marital home in June and publicly listed it in July, indicating their eagerness to sell.
