The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has taken a revolutionary step by connecting the tax system with 'One Link', enabling citizens to pay taxes online while sitting at their homes.
This was announced during a meeting held under the chairmanship of Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon. While addressing the meeting, Sharjeel said that the new digital service aims to save time, reduce hassles, and bring convenience to the public.
The initiative promotes transparency by allowing people to pay vehicle taxes easily and securely.
The minister emphasised that the public can now pay taxes in minutes, at any time, in a safe and reliable manner. "The department is committed to provide the highest efficiency and convenience", he said.
Checkpoints will be established at the entry and exit points of major cities to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
The minister announced that 50 premium numbers would be issued as part of a fundraising event for flood victims. "An online fundraising will be held for around 200 of premium numbers.”
