Mariah Carey to celebrate 30th anniversary of ‘Merry Christmas’ album with 20-city tour

Mariah Carey announces a 20-city Christmas tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her ‘Merry Christmas’ album.

Mariah Carey will mark the 30th anniversary of her iconic "Merry Christmas" album and its hit single "All I Want for Christmas Is You" with a 20-city Christmas tour titled "Mariah Carey's Christmas Time." The tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off in early November and concludes in mid-December.

The tour will begin with three shows in southern California, starting with a premiere at Highland’s Yaamava Theater on November 6. Carey will then perform at the Hollywood Bowl on November 8 and at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs on November 13. The final leg of the tour will feature performances in Newark, NJ, at the Prudential Center on December 13, at the UBS Arena in Belmont Park, NY, on December 15, and concluding at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on December 17.

In between, Carey will visit cities including Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Nashville, Austin, Dallas, and Boston. This tour follows Carey's successful 13-city "Merry Christmas One and All!" tour in 2023. The setlist will feature a mix of Christmas classics and non-seasonal hits such as "Hero" and "We Belong Together." Carey began commemorating her Christmas album with special concerts in 2014 and has since turned these into annual events, including a filmed CBS special in 2019.

The popularity of "All I Want for Christmas Is You" has grown over the years, becoming a perennial No. 1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 each December since 2019. Fans can also catch Carey in her ongoing "Celebration of Mimi" residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas.
