WATCH: CCTV footage captures Brazilian tourist robbed in Peshawar

A CCTV footage has surfaced on the internet showing a robbery involving a Brazilian tourist at Peshawar's Milad Chowk.

The footage clearly shows the Brazilian tourist taking photographs when he was targeted by two motorcycle-riding muggers who snatched her mobile phone before making a swift escape.

The incident, which occurred on May 12, had already been reported to the local police, who have been investigating the case.

SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar confirmed that the suspects have been identified through the CCTV footage and assured that their arrest is imminent, stating, "The investigation is progressing, and we are confident that the culprits will be apprehended shortly."
