Gypsy-Rose Blanchard marked her 33rd birthday on Saturday, July 27, with a heartfelt celebration shared with her followers.
The reality star, known for her role on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, posted a video on TikTok and Instagram on Wednesday, July 31, reflecting on her birthday festivities.
In the video, Blanchard enjoys a meal with her family and seeks their advice as she embarks on a new year. Her half-sister, Mia Blanchard, offers a piece of advice during their car ride to lunch: "Stay happy, stay healthy, keep your mind healthy, and think before you say and do, please."
Another guest advises her to "always be true to yourself. Never change because you want somebody else to change, too. And always be as sweet as you are, and know that God loves you."
Her stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, echoes the sentiment, stating, "I second everything that they said. Think before you speak. Remember that what you put out in the universe — good vibes come back to you, bad vibes come back — stay true to yourself."
The video also features Blanchard and her boyfriend, Ken Urker, 31, dining at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel New Orleans.
During their meal, Urker advises, "Stay away from the negativity [and] negative voices. And have all the faith and trust in your loved ones in your circle and just keep going forward. We're here for you."
Blanchard's birthday is significant as it marks her first celebration since her release from prison in December 2023, following an eight-year sentence related to the 2015 murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.
Earlier this month, Blanchard announced on YouTube that she and Urker are expecting their first child in January 2025, adding, "Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025. This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood."
