A United Nations vehicle came under terrorist attack at the junction of Dera Ismail Khan and Tank districts on Tuesday. However, the two passengers in the vehicle remained unharmed because of its armour plating against light weapons, police said.
The police said that approximately seven terrorists opened fire on the armoured vehicle belonging to the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
A local police official said that the vehicle did not have the UN logo on it and that the two crew members were not accompanied by any armed guards.
