Billie Eilish has presented fans with new, intimate renditions of her hit songs in Amazon Music’s latest series, Songline.

The Grammy-winning artist shared these performances on Monday, July 29, featuring tracks from her third studio album.

Collaborating with Finneas and a group of backing musicians, Eilish delivered stripped-down versions of "Skinny," "L’Amour de Ma Vie," "Wildflower," and "Birds of a Feather."

The new arrangement of "Wildflower," with Finneas on acoustic guitar, can be viewed on Eilish's YouTube channel.

Amazon Music's Songline series, available exclusively on the platform, not only showcases these fresh arrangements but also delves into the creation of each track. Eilish and Finneas discuss how "Skinny" served as the "entry point" to her latest album, the inspiration behind "Wildflower," and the decision to simplify the songs for this performance.

"There's so many harmonies and different parts and that is really what I wanted to showcase," Eilish said. "The fun, sweet, emotional piece. Some of it gets drowned out a little bit and I just wanted to highlight the songs, because I love them and think they’re so special."

The musicians supporting Eilish and Finneas include bassist Solo Smith, drummer Andrew Marshall, and string instrumentalists Molly Rogers, Michelle Shin, and Leah Metzler. Vocalists Eloise Lamb, Jane Horner, and Rozzi also joined the performance.

Tom Winkler, head of publisher, songwriter, and society relations at Amazon Music, commented, “Songline offers an opportunity for artist songwriters and their collaborators to showcase their songwriting process, detail their artistic journey, and reveal the stories behind songs typically hidden away in studios.”

Eilish and Finneas had previously discussed the making of Hit Me Hard and Soft during their appearance on Hot Ones Versus. They shared insights into their "biggest argument" during the album's creation, highlighting their collaboration and creative tensions.

Eilish's album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, released on May 17, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The Songline episode featuring Billie Eilish is now streaming exclusively on Amazon Music.
