Actress Erica Ash has reportedly died at the age of 46 after battling cancer.
Known for her roles in 'Real Husbands of Hollywood' and 'Survivor's Remorse,' Ash's death was announced by BET in a tribute posted on Monday, which was later deleted.
The tribute read, “Today, #BETRemembers actress and comedienne Erica Ash who has passed away at the age of 46. Known for being equal parts witty and funny, Erica starred in BET favourites such as ‘Survivor's Remorse’ and reality spoof ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood.’ We send our deepest condolences and love to her parents, siblings, friends, and family. Fly high Queen ??”
However, Ash's fellow comedian and close friend Loni Love took to social media to confirm the star's death.
The cause of death and the exact date she passed away have not been made public. Despite the removal of the BET post, numerous celebrities have shared their condolences online.
