FIA busts four passengers with fake visas at Karachi airport

Three passengers were caught with fake Guinea visit visas, one was arrested arriving in Pakistan with fake Iraq visa

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration apprehended four passengers with fake visas during operations at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Sunday.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the immigration staff at Jinnah International Airport detained three passengers attempting to travel abroad on fake documents and one passenger arriving from abroad.

The arrested individuals were identified as Muhammad Javed, Abdul Jabbar, Muhammad Asghar, and Daniyal Ahmed. Javed, Jabbar, and Asghar were travelling on visit visas to Guinea, with fake Guinea visas affixed to their passports. These individuals hail from Jhang and Layyah.

Ahmed was arrested upon his arrival in Pakistan, and found with a fake Iraq visa on his passport. Preliminary investigations revealed that he obtained the visa from an agent for Rs250,000.

The arrested individuals have been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi for further investigation.
