Sanam Saeed praises on-screen chemistry of Fawad and Mahira khan

Renowned Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed recently shared her views on the on-screen chemistry between Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, describing their pairing as magical.

In a recent interview, Saeed lauded the duo, highlighting their appeal in romantic roles.

Saeed commented that while Fawad and Mahira’s on-screen romance creates a spellbinding effect, she feels her pairing with Fawad does not evoke the same reaction.

"When Fawad and Mahira appear together, their romance feels magical. This isn’t the case with me and Fawad," she said.

She added that both Mahira and Fawad are exceptionally beautiful, which contributes to their popularity as a couple on-screen.

"It's not necessary for me to always appear in romantic roles with Fawad," Saeed remarked.

Reflecting on their latest collaboration after 12 years in the Indian web series "Barzakh," Saeed expressed disbelief at how quickly time had passed.

The series, released last week on the Indian streaming website Zee5 and Zindagi YouTube channel, features Fawad and Saeed as step-siblings.

In their previous blockbuster drama "Zindagi Gulzar Hai" in 2012, the duo portrayed a married couple, a performance still cherished by fans.

Saeed emphasised that as an actor, she aims to perform a variety of roles and urged viewers to appreciate actors in different characters, not just romantic ones.
