SANAA:

Yemen's Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi on Thursday said in a televised speech that his armed group would launch more attacks against the Israeli city of Tel Aviv.

"I confirm that more military operations to target Tel Aviv are coming," the leader said in his weekly speech aired live by his group's al-Masirah TV.

Last week, the Houthis claimed responsibility for a drone attack on a building in Tel Aviv that killed a person and injured 10 others.

In retaliation, Israeli fighter jets bombarded fuel storage facilities in Yemen's Red Sea port city of Hodeidah, which is under the control of the Houthi rebels, killing six people and injuring 83 others, according to al-Masirah TV.

Since November last year, the Houthi group has been targeting ships linked to Israel in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden using ballistic missiles and bomb-laden drones to show solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
