Spreading Awareness: Literacy Day walk held in Khanewal

KHANEWAL: District Coordination Officer Rashid Mehmood on Thursday led walk in the city in connection with the World Literacy Day. The walk started at the district government complex and ended at district council hall after passing through different areas of the city. Participants held banners and placards with slogans calling for promotion of schooling and allocation of more funds for education. A large number of school children and representatives of non-governmental organisations attended the walk.
