Estranged sisters reunite, Elizabeth Olsen, Natasha Lyonne, Carrie Coon in 'His Three Daughters'

The trailer follows three estranged sisters reconnecting in Manhattan to care for their ailing father.

Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming drama film "His Three Daughters," starring Elizabeth Olsen, Natasha Lyonne, and Carrie Coon as estranged sisters who reunite to care for their ailing father.

The film, written and directed by Azazel Jacobs, premiered last year at the Toronto International Film Festival and is set for a limited theatrical release on September 6th, followed by a Netflix streaming debut on September 24th.

The trailer showcases the complex dynamics between the sisters as they navigate their strained relationships while dealing with their father's impending death. Tensions rise and past hurts resurface as the sisters attempt to find common ground and fulfill their father's wishes.

Critics have praised the film, with The Hollywood Reporter's Jon Frosch calling it Jacobs' "strongest effort since 'Momma's Man'" and highlighting the "superlative turns" by the three lead actresses.
