Love Island star Leah Kateb stopped by the Call Her Daddy podcast studio to tell her side of the story.
The Los Angeles native discussed her relationship with Rob Rausch during Season 6 of the popular reality dating show.
Leah, 24, and Rob, 25, formed a strong connection early on in Love Island, leaving a lasting impression on fans.
Earlier this week, Rob shared details about his relationship with Leah in the Love Island villa, revealing to host Alex Cooper, 29, that they have stayed friends.
Leah made it to the show's finale alongside her partner, Miguel Harichi.
Leah shifted her focus to Miguel after Rob started connecting with other women, including bombshell Andrea, who was swiftly eliminated.
However, Leah confessed she was "mortified" by some of Rob's remarks about their relationship on the show, including his claim that he felt "no sexual chemistry" with her, which Rob has denied ever saying.
"Every bad thing I ever thought about myself literally just swarming in my head," explained Leah.
"I've never felt that embarrassed in my life. I felt so unwanted, so gross.”
"Literally every bad thing I've thought about myself was confirmed in that moment."
Leah expressed confusion over Rob's comments, questioning why he would specifically say such things about a woman.
"I feel like it's taken me a while to get to a place where I'm like, oh, I feel good about myself of how I look," she said.
"I'm very critical about myself. And I think that it just took me, I don't know, I think it put me in a very bad head space. I'll just tell you that."
At one point, Leah started to tear up, describing Rob's comments as "hurtful."
"I wouldn't have guessed he felt like that," she said. "It was just shocking."
Alex also became emotional, acknowledging that any woman could empathize with Leah's feelings.
"You feel so embarrased by...I thought we had something here and you literally are off of me," said Alex.
