Utility providers asked to relocate installations from Red Line route

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has asked all the utility providers to accelerate work to relocate their installations on the BRT Red Line project within a month.

While speaking at the meeting on Thursday to review the progress on the mass transit project. Sindh senior minister briefed the CM on the project's status, mentioning that Lot 1, from Malir Halt to Mosamiyat, has achieved 9.46% physical progress, and Lot 2, from Mosamiyat to Numaish, has reached 15.3%. He projected completion dates of March 2026 for Lot 1 and June 2026 for Lot 2. Expressing concern over traffic issues along the Red Line Corridor causing public distress, the chief minister instructed the transport department to expedite project activities.
