A medical team successfully removed a large brain tumour from a 53-year-old female patient at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital. The patient had been suffering from severe headaches and fainting spells for the past four years.
The surgery was performed by a team of experts from the Neurosurgery Department, led by Professor Ashraf Mehmood. The operation lasted one and a half hours and was meticulously conducted with the assistance of Senior Registrar Dr Usman Malik and Post Graduate Trainee Dr Maha.
