Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti voiced concerns over governance challenges and political interference in administrative matters. He expressed these views during a seminar on good governance and service delivery.
Addressing the audience at the Balochistan Civil Secretariat on Thursday, CM Bugti highlighted the difficulties faced by the provincial administration. Notable figures such as Mushahid Hussain Syed and Sanaullah Baloch, along with officers and members of academia, heard the chief minister voice his concerns.
He noted that Balochistan’s governance was often hindered by coalition politics, rendering the chief minister’s office susceptible to pressure and limited authority. He said this particularly affected administrative matters such as transfers and postings.
“The CM is always blackmailed because there is no single-party dominance, but rather a coalition,” Bugti remarked.
