Pindi police nab two car snatchers

The Rawalpindi Police has arrested two of the most wanted suspects involved in car snatching and theft and recovered eight vehicles.

Sadiqabad police arrested two wanted car snatchers on the instructions of CPO, Syed Khalid Hamdani. The arrested suspects were named as Junaid and Ali Muhammad. Eight stolen vehicles worth millions of rupees, which they had snatched and stolen from different parts of Rawalpindi as well as arms and tools used for vehicle theft were recovered from them.

SSP Investigation Zunira Azfar and Rawal SP Faisal Saleem handed over the keys of the recovered vehicles to the owners. The accused used to snatch and steal vehicles from different areas of Rawalpindi. CPO, Syed Khalid Hamdani had formed a special team headed by SHO Sadiqabad to arrest the accused.

The stolen vehicles were recovered from the accused following the identification parade. Rawal SP Faisal Saleem said that efforts are being made to arrest other facilitators of the accused.

The owners appreciated the efforts of the Rawalpindi police and wished them well after their stolen vehicles were returned to them. “All legal requirements will be fulfilled to punish the accused,” said SSP Investigation Zunira Azfar.
