Love Island USA Kendall Washington addresses private video leak after finale

"What a way to get my phone back y’all," shared Kendall Washington on his Instagram.

Kendall Washington is speaking out about a "private" video that leaked online while he was in Fiji filming Season 6 of "Love Island USA."

Following the show's finale on Sunday night, where Washington and his partner Nicole Jacky came in fourth place, the contestants retrieved their phones.

On Monday, Washington addressed the situation in his Instagram Story, “What a way to get my phone back y’all 😅.”

“I just want to address the content that came out from my past,” he explained to his followers.

“That was something I shared to someone in confidence and trust. It’s unfortunate that it’s no longer private but it is what it is.”

He continued, “I want to thank you all for the calls/texts to support me during this time.”

Washington concluded his message by expressing gratitude for his "experience" on the reality competition show, adding, “I love you all for tuning in to watch my journey.”

Despite the viral video showing Washington unclothed on a bed, he is “excited for what’s next ❤️.”

Jacky has not commented on the situation.

For the past six weeks, cameras captured the 26-year-old Sacramento native, who joined the villa as a bombshell, forming a romantic connection with Washington.

Although their bond was tested when Jacky showed brief interest in Miguel Harichi, she and Washington eventually reconnected.

On Sunday’s finale, Washington confessed that he realized he loved Jacky when he returned from Casa Amor and saw that she had waited for him instead of coupling up with one of the new guys.

During their final date, he said "he dropped the L-word," but Jacky didn't say it back until hours later, just before Kordell Beckham and Serena Page were announced as the winning couple.

Miguel Harichi and Leah Kateb finished in second place, while JaNa Craig and Kenneth “Kenny” Rodriguez came in third.
