A social media influencer from the Netherlands recently visited Pakistan and shared a surprising discovery with his followers.
Known online as TravelTomTom, the influencer showcased a hotel room in Peshawar that cost only $1.40, equivalent to 400 rupees.
Tom, who has travelled to 159 countries, shared an Instagram post that garnered a staggering 860,000 comments.
In his post, Tom revealed his disbelief upon seeing the room, stating, "When I saw the room, I couldn't believe it." He further shared in the clip that he couldn't pass up the opportunity to stay in a room for less than $2.
As he climbed the stairs to the room, Tom remained sceptical, but his surprise turned to amazement when he saw the interior. The room featured two beds and a small television, an unexpected find for such a low price.
