Youth strangles stepmother to death
Police have arrested a youth and his two friends on the charge of strangling his stepmother to death.
According to the complainant, the victim Nayela Bibi had married Parvez 11 years ago. Her husband had four sons and a daughter with his first wife.
The suspect, 24-old Abdul Rahman resented his father's second marriage and had allegedly threatened to kill his step-mother.
The deceased Nayela was the mother of a girl.
Abdul Rahman allegedly strangled his step-mother to death in their home with the help of his friends Naqash and Sohaib.
After the murder, the suspects placed tablets of poison in the mouth of the victim to make the death appear as suicide.
They then took the victim to a hospital where the doctors pronounced her dead.
Afterwards, the suspects took the body home and started crying.
When the relatives of the woman reached her home, they saw marks on her neck and informed the police.
The police shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem.
