Investment: Awan meets Norwegian businessmen

Norwegian businessmen shared their views with the information minister regarding the state of investment in Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan met representatives of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise, Norwegian businessmen and the Telenor CEO here on Thursday. Norwegian businessmen shared their views with the information minister regarding the state of investment in Pakistan. Dr Awan said that the present government was committed to establishing a pro-investment environment in Pakistan and for that purpose it was doing its best to improve the security situation. She emphasised on the need to engage the unemployed youth so that they could not be exploited by extremists. She urged Norwegian companies to invest in Pakistan.
