Female sub-inspector's vehicle attacked near Nowshera

Further investigation is underway while raids have been launched to apprehend the attackers

A female sub-inspector of the Motorway Police narrowly escaped an attack when unidentified gunmen opened fire on her vehicle near Nowshera on Sunday.

According to Express News, the incident occurred on the Nowshera-Mardan Road near Barah Banda.

The sub-inspector, identified as Javeria Shah, was en route to her duty station when two motorcycle-borne assailants fired at her car. Fortunately, she remained unharmed.

Upon receiving the report, a heavy contingent of police from the Risalpur police station in Nowshera district arrived at the scene.

According to the police, a case has been registered and further investigation is underway while raids have been launched to apprehend the unknown attackers.
