Nick Jonas recently took to Instagram to commemorate the sixth anniversary of his engagement to Priyanka Chopra.
On July 19, the Jonas Brothers member shared a nostalgic photo from the day he proposed to Chopra. In the image, Jonas can be seen smiling at the camera while Chopra hides her face behind their joined hands.
Her engagement ring, a custom Tiffany & Co. cushion-cut diamond, is prominently displayed.
“I asked the most amazing woman in the world to marry me 6 years ago today,” Jonas wrote in his post. “Thank you for saying yes @priyankachopra.”
Chopra shared the tribute on her Instagram Stories, expressing disbelief that six years have passed since the proposal.
The couple got engaged in Crete during Chopra's 36th birthday celebrations in July 2018. They announced their engagement on Instagram three weeks later, showcasing a photo of them gazing at each other with Chopra's engagement ring visible.
They married in December 2018 with a multi-day wedding including a western ceremony led by Jonas’s father and a Hindu ceremony celebrating Chopra's heritage. Their daughter, Malti Marie, was born via surrogate about three years later.
Chopra has praised Jonas as her “greatest champion,” acknowledging his support in various public appearances, including at the South Asian Excellence Party at the 2023 Oscars.
Jonas also honoured Chopra on her 42nd birthday on July 18 with a series of photos highlighting moments from their life together, including a beach kiss and a poolside snapshot.
