Prince Harry has reportedly scrapped plans for a film adaptation of his memoir, "Spare."

Released in January 2023, "Spare" became the fastest-selling non-fiction book ever on its first day, drawing attention for its revelations about Harry's feud with the Royal Family and his experiences in Afghanistan.

According to the Mail, Harry holds the rights to potential film, television, and stage adaptations of "Spare," effectively preventing anyone else from dramatising the book. This decision is said to protect portrayals of his late mother, Princess Diana, and wife, Meghan Markle, aligning with Harry’s own views.

While it remains unclear if a film adaptation was actively in development, Harry and Meghan continue to work under their multi-million-pound deal with Netflix, signed in 2020 after stepping down as senior royals. They are currently developing two shows for the platform. Harry's project explores professional polo, a sport he deeply loves, while Meghan's show celebrates cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendships.
