Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has become the latest celebrity to acquire Tesla’s Cybertruck. Unlike others, he has also hinted at a new song named after the distinctive electric vehicle.

Earlier this week, Car Effex, a New Jersey-based vehicle customiser, posted an Instagram video of Mill driving a matte black Cybertruck. The video caught Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s attention, prompting a simple “Cool” response from the billionaire.

Earlier this month, Mill shared a snippet of a music video on Instagram featuring two Cybertrucks, a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, and a Lamborghini Urus. He confirmed the song's title as “Cybertruck.” While it’s unclear if the vehicles in the video belong to Mill, he appears to own a Cybertruck himself.

In February, Mill expressed his desire for the vehicle on X, formerly Twitter.

By April, he voiced frustration over a recall of 3,800 Cybertrucks due to unintentional acceleration issues, comparing it to a crash he experienced with a GMC Hummer EV.

“Wassup with these cyber trucks because I had another brand electric car ‘not Tesla’ do the same thing I crashed and got hurt bad… The airbags didn't even come out in a totalled car! Tesla has always been safe for me I tried some new shit and it almost killed me the first day!”

The Cybertruck's celebrity appeal stems from its unconventional design, high price, and limited availability. Prices start at £61,990 for the all-wheel drive version, with the premium Cyberbeast at £77,990. A more affordable rear-wheel drive model will be available in 2025 for £47,990.

Tesla is ramping up Cybertruck production, aiming for 250,000 units annually by 2025. At Tesla's annual shareholder meeting, Musk revealed a weekly production rate of 1,300 units, with plans to reach 2,500 units by year-end.
