Hip hop producer Irv Gotti sued for alleged sexual assault and battery by ex-girlfriend
Irv Gotti, the founder of Murder Inc. Records and a successful music producer, is being sued by an ex-companion for alleged sexual assault and battery. The lawsuit claims that Gotti, 54, sexually assaulted and abused the woman on several occasions from 2020 to 2022 in Saint Martin, Miami, and Atlanta.
According to the lawsuit, Gotti coerced the woman into having sex with him, threatening to send her home if she didn't comply. The suit also alleges that Gotti "demanded" sexual acts from the woman throughout their alleged two-year relationship, and that he forced her to perform oral sex in an elevator and an Uber.
The woman's attorney, Adriana Alcalde, said to Rolling Stone that her client has suffered a lot and that the #MeToo movement has given her the courage to speak out about her experience. Gotti has denied any wrongdoing, with his representative calling the allegations "baseless" and saying that he will address them in court.
The lawsuit seeks a trial by jury and has not yet been set.
