Man killed in his sleep by brother

Victim struck with iron rod in head allegedly by elder brother

DIJKOT:

A man murdered his younger brother by striking him on the head with an iron rod while he was asleep, allegedly in retaliation for being forbidden from using ICE (drugs). He disposed of the body in the Rajbah area.

A harrowing incident has come to light in the Roshanwala police station area, where a 17-year-old boy, Zeeshan, was abducted from his residence in Chak 233 Rebaay Jhanda Singwala Karheshi.

His uncle, Muhammad Arshad, reported the incident to the police, stating that Zeeshan and his brother Sufiyan were sleeping in the Haveli Maal Mavishan when unknown persons took Zeeshan during the night.

The Roshanwala police promptly registered a case under section 365 PPC for kidnapping and launched a search operation. Tragically, the body of Zeeshan was discovered around 10:30am in Chak No. 232 Rab Bawe Wala Rajbah. The body bore a wound on the head, and the police shifted it to the hospital for post-mortem examination.

During the investigation, Sufiyan, Zeeshan's brother, was questioned, and it was revealed a shocking twist that he, along with accomplices Owais and Tanveer, had murdered him. The motive behind the crime was a longstanding feud, as Zeeshan would often forbid his brother from using drugs and also verbally abuse him. In a fit of rage, he and his accomplices struck Zeeshan on the head with a dung picker, killing him, and then disposed of his body in the Rajbah (small canal) passing near the house late at night.

The police amended the kidnapping case to murder, and put the three accused behind bars.

Roshanwala police station SHO Malik Imran Zeeshan said around 80 buffaloes, and would often forbid Sufyan from using drugs and urged him to work. This led to a heated argument between the brothers just a day before the incident.

The grudge culminated in Sufiyan, Owais, and Tanveer, all drug addicts, killing Zeeshan by striking him on the head with an iron and disposing of his body in Rajbah (Small canal).
