Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg described former President Donald Trump's response to being shot as "badass," while refraining from endorsing him during an interview with Bloomberg, released on Friday.
In the interview at Meta headquarters, Bloomberg's Emily Chang questioned Zuckerberg about the upcoming elections. Zuckerberg stated that Meta would continue to reduce political content in users' feeds, citing user feedback indicating a preference for less political content.
Zuckerberg also mentioned that he would not be taking an active role in the election or endorsing any candidate.
However, he did commend Trump for his reaction to the recent assassination attempt on his life.

Zuckerberg said it was hard to not be emotional.

Earlier this month, Donald Trump stated on Truth Social that he intends to imprison Zuckerberg if re-elected.
“All I can say is that if I'm elected President, we will pursue Election Fraudsters at levels never seen before, and they will be sent to prison for long periods of time. We already know who you are. DON'T DO IT! ZUCKERBUCKS, be careful!”
Recently, in another interview with Bloomberg, Trump again expressed his grievances with Zuckerberg while discussing the necessity of regulating Big Tech.
“Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm for TikTok because you need competition. If you don't have TikTok, you have Facebook and Instagram, and that's, you know, that's Zuckerberg.”
